One day in the month of Sept 2011, Michael Toedman, the Managing Director of B2B Network of 24/7 Real Media, a company I used to work for has encouraged me to submit my story to this online competition. This was hosted by celebrity singer songwriter Jason Mraz as part of Intel | Asus in the hunt of finding 'In Search of Incredible' stories around the world.

I quickly responded with a huge doubt on whether my project was even worth or qualified to be regarded in the "In Search of Incredible" category. Despite I even found a quick excuse to say that I did not have the required demo length video to submit as per the requirements of entry.

 

Michael new my self doubting character and without taking an inch of my excuses he quickly convinced me that I had plenty of videos over the years of entertaining strangers which i could simply compile together and compress to the required length. After all, he said i had nothing to loose!

On the same day, that evening I returned from work, I have engaged fully on the task to compile the demo video to showcase my project 'ForwardTheSmile'. I had hundreds of videos which I filmed over the years of people sharing a smile from my entertainment in the tube. Within couple of days I had a video ready to submit on the online platform to which individual country winners would be announced based on a voting system. 

 

Behold by November 2011, my project 'ForwardTheSmile' was announced winner of In Search of Incredible in the UK. At that time I did not realise that Jason Mraz was the host of this online competition and only once I saw the announcement I was dazzled! It was a very special moment for me because Jason Mraz was the singer songwriter of the song "I am Yours" which I launched with my project 'ForwardTheSmile" years ago, singing it to hundreds of people; now years later Jason Mraz was presenting me the award for 'In Search of Incredible' UK.
